Up Close

I have been wanting to dabble in macro photography recently...and as I started to do more research, I realized there are a couple options: spend thousands of dollars on a quality macro lens, tripod, and other necessary gadgets, or $10 on a set of four macro filters that let you play around a bit.  Guess which one I chose?  As I continue to find with photography, the more I learn, the more I realize I know nothing!  Macro is a whole new world of manual focus, crazy depth of field, and careful lighting.  Plus I now realize why it is necessary to have a tripod!  Anyway, here are a few of my first macro pics...all are SOOC...I am feeling too lazy today for editing!
